By pressing keys or combinations of keys in sequence, you can perform actions on the selected objects in a document. This can be very useful for creating automated workflows.

How to enable KeyMacro:
STEP 1: Configure the keyboard shortcut in the Options window.

Creating macros
Macros are any sequences of keystrokes you can create. They are the key to automating repetitive tasks, and KeyMacro makes it a breeze.
Creating macros
Select an object by clicking it in the document window. You can select one or more objects by using Shift + Click.
Click the Macro button at the top of the main toolbar.
A Macro editor window opens.
To create a macro, type or paste the sequence of keys you want to use to perform the task.
Double-click on a macro to edit it, or right-click to open the Macro editor.
Add more macros by clicking the macro name. To copy the macro name click the Paste button, or select the macro and click the Copy button.
The macro is added to the list of macros.
To delete a macro, select it and click the Delete button.
Perform a Macro
To perform a macro, just press the macro’s sequence of keys.
To start a macro, press the Macro button, or type a macro name.
Tip: If you type an incomplete macro, KeyMacro completes it for you.
