KEYMACRO is a fast and easy-to-use USB key that allows you to record the keystrokes that you make on your keyboard, letting you activate computer programs simply by using a mouse or simply by pressing a button.
The KEYMACRO USB key is extremely compact, so you can easily fit it in your pocket or any type of bag or case and when you need it, it is very easy to just press a button and you can activate the targeted program.
KEYMACRO records all your keystrokes, including Shift, Ctrl, Alt, and Win keys, without recording only the strokes that you make with the mouse. The software will then save the text in a file in either keymap or notepad format.
Simply press a button, select the keyboard mode, and save the text by pressing the ‘Save Button’. The keyboard can be used in two modes, ‘Active Mode’ and ‘Inactive Mode’.
After activating the desired program, the text can be loaded directly by pressing the ‘Load Button’. As soon as the text is loaded, you can activate a macro or a sequence of macros (ex: Record Macro, and then press the ‘Run Macro’ button, and then press the ‘Stop Macro’ button).
The ‘Record’ button lets you record a macro. The application supports the following formats: keymap, notepad, and text.
The ‘Show Macro Summary’ button allows you to check the structure of the macro, displaying the section where the macro is currently recorded.
On the ‘Edit Macro’ button, you can edit the currently loaded macro or delete the macro by pressing the ‘Del Macro’ button. After you are done with the editing, press the ‘Save Macro’ button to save the changes you made and exit the application.
KEYMACRO’s latest update version 2.0.1 includes the following new features:
– You can now select to record a macro for the entire system or for only one application.
– You can now record several macros in succession, that is, in a single macro step, press the ‘Run Macro’ button to start the macro.
– You can now select the order in which the macros will be executed.
– You can now set the ‘Delay Before Run Macro’ value, that is, after activating a macro, the macro will be disabled for the given amount of time.
