Database design for scoring system

I currently have a question about the best way to design a database for a game which involves points.
This game would be like the game Minesweeper. You start with a limited number of score points and then each time you click on a mine you lose some points.
However in this game, when you are level 5, the scores will start to become so high that if you click on a mine as you level up, your points will be capped and you cannot go lower than it ever was.
So in a way, I need to have many score levels where they are sorted in a way where if you are in level 5, then it cannot be reached before you reach level 12.
It is similar to how in marbles the difference between the 5 and 6 is that they are on different levels.
I am trying to work out the best way to set this up in a database.

This should be easy to do with a single table, scoring_table, containing fields for the id of each customer (this has no meaning in this context, but is the name you give to the table in which data is stored), the current level of the customer (integer that starts at 0 and goes up), and the user_id of the user whose last turn (1 meaning first user’s turn, 2 meaning the second, etc.) this data is based on. There are not enough rows to create a point system for each level, so you’ll need a separate table, such as for level 5, level6, level7, etc. You can add, delete, or change the current level by changing the level field. When the level field is 5, there is no reason for it to change to 4; when a player hits a mine, they can either start at level 0 or level 1 (you get to choose which) and can earn points at their normal rate of 1 point per click.
